Upcycled RC Glider

● COMPLETE

The Challenge

I wanted to apply real aeronautical principles while keeping the build sustainable. Instead of buying new parts, I salvaged the motor, battery, and remote electronics from a discarded RC car and gave them a second life in the air.

The Build

I crafted the airframe from lightweight cardboard, measuring, cutting, and assembling custom wings and stabilizers. It took multiple iterations to perfect the airfoil and get the center of gravity right so the glider would stay stable in flight. The salvaged components had to be carefully soldered and wired into the new frame.

Skills Demonstrated
