Steering Wheel V2

Why a V2?

The original Unojoy wheel worked, but it had limitations: no force-feedback, limited buttons, and a clunky pedal connection. V2 is a ground-up redesign fixing all three.

The Build

The new design uses a more capable microcontroller, a custom button box with toggle switches and encoders, and a cleaner wiring harness for the pedal set. Force-feedback motor control is the main new challenge — reading game output and translating it to torque in real time.

Skills Demonstrated

Advanced Arduino/C++ programming, analog and digital I/O, PCB layout, and iterative hardware design.
